What we collect, where it lives, and how to get it deleted.
What we collect
The Grade form records the email address you enter and the ticker you look up. Reading the published board, full Track Record, and Market's Best does not require an email. Basic visit analytics are collected through Google Analytics when enabled. There are no accounts, passwords, or payment data on this site.
Why we collect it
Grade-form submissions record interest in ticker lookups. The lookup returns an existing score; it does not generate a new analysis. No email is sent by that form. Earlier versions also collected emails to unlock the record and market screen. Those unlock forms have been removed; previously submitted addresses remain stored until deletion is requested.
Where it lives and for how long
Submitted emails go to a database table in our AWS account (DynamoDB, encrypted at rest). One row per email address, holding the address, the tickers you asked to grade, which forms you used, and the time of your last submission. There is no automatic expiry: the data is kept until we manually delete it. To have your row deleted, email e@ericcaskey.com.
What we don't do
We don't sell, share, rent, or trade your email. Nobody sees the list except the site operator. The only third parties that touch any data are AWS, which hosts the site and the database, and Google, which provides the analytics below. Nothing you type into a form is sent to Google.
Analytics
When enabled, the site loads Google Analytics 4 in its default configuration to count visits and see which pages get read. Google sets its usual cookies for this (listed below) and processes that data under its own privacy policy. We send no custom events.
Cookies and browser storage
The site itself sets no cookies; the only cookies come from Google Analytics. The site does use your browser's localStorage for small preferences that never leave your device. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of them.
